Mine was only a precautionary examination at Victoria Hospital but I had every confidence that I was being seen by a first rate professional consultant.
I was very nervous because I was told that my cataract operation might not be straight forward because of a corneal problem that could be made worse by the operation. Mr Hu was very reassuring and said it was not a problem. I am so glad he did my operation with such care and efficiency and I have absolutely nothing to criticise or recommend. In fact I was impressed by all the staff at Leighton hospital who dealt with me and wish to thank them all
Very friendly & informative. Immediately put me at ease & gave me confidence to go ahead with the treatment.
I was referred during a routine eye test, Dr Hu diagnosed the issue swiftly and effectively. He reassured me and made me feel at ease and also ensured that I was seen quickly for laser surgery to prevent full retinal detachment. Great doctor.
Mr Hu is very reassuring, friendly, gentle, informative and patient. He is at the leading edge of his speciality, has reassured me and managed my expectations completely. I feel in very safe hands and know that him and his team have not only controlled my symptoms, but have a ‘plan B’ should things deteriorate.
I am so relieved that the whole eye care system at Leighton is geared to seeing patients very quickly should there be an emergency. From the efficient text messages confirming the appointment to the welcoming nurses, I could not be more confident of my care. THANK YOU TEAM.
